Volume 35 • Number 2A • 2012   • On Azumaya Galois Extensions Lianyong Xue Abstract. Let $B$ be a Galois extension of an Azumaya algebra with Galois group $G$. Then $B$ is characterized in terms of the commutator subring of $B^G$ in $B$ and the skew group ring $B*G$. Also an equivalent condition is given for $B$ as a composition of two Galois extensions $B\supset B^GC\supset B^G$ where $C$ is the center of $B$. 2010 Mathematics Subject Classification: 16S35, 16W20.
