Day 1 - Cubic Algebraic Form, Control Point Form, Matrix Formulation, Matrix Formulation of Control Point
Day 2 - Bernstein-Bezier Polynomial, Symbolic Representation of Bernstein-Bezier general form, Quadratic Bernstein-Bezier Form, Properties of Bernstein-Bezier Form.
Day 3 - De Casteljau’s Algorithm , Symbolic Representation of De Casteljau’s Algorithm, Derivation of Subdivision Algorithm
Day 4 - Bernstein-Bezier Tensor Product Surfaces, Integral B-Splines, Types of B-Splines
Day 5 - Cubic Hermite Interpolation, Splines Functions, Cubic Spline Interpolation, End Conditions

C. About the Speaker

Malik Zawwar Hussain is a Professor in University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He received his Ph.D. Degree in 2002 in the field of Computer Graphics from University of the Punjab. He did post-doctoral research fellowship from University of Birmingham, UK in 2007. His research interests include Computational Mathematics, Numerical Analysis, Computer Graphics, Visualization, CAGD, CAD/CAM, Image Processing and Soft Computing. He has advised/supervised more than 50 students for their M.Phil. and Ph.D. theses. He has published more than 75 publications in the form of journal and conference papers. He has been invited speaker in more than 25 international conferences/ Seminars/ Workshops and a member of organizing committee for several international conferences around the world. He also attended many international conferences/workshops and presented his research in most of them. He is also a life member of many renowned international societies. He is associated to many journals of international repute as editor and reviewer. He remained on multiple administrative posts at University of the Punjab from 1995 to date along with his research activities
