Overview:

Dr. Norshafira joined the School of Mathematical Sciences, USM, as a lecturer in 2018. Her research interests are in the area of fluid dynamics, boundary layer flows and heat transfer, and mathematical modelling. Her current research is performing the stability analysis for the problem considered in ferrofluids.

I am available to supervise motivated students, and especially welcome enquiries from well-prepared and enthusiastic candidates. Currently, I have several projects that would be suitable for final year, Masters or PhD students in mathematical modelling. In particular, for those who are interested to do research in stability analysis specifically for the problem of boundary layer flows and heat transfer.
