Waves and Wave Groups in Deep Water

Abstract.
In this paper specific wave geometries are discussed
which occur in deep water and are calculated by a numerical
method based on Fourier transforms. Examples are presented
of permanent waves and wave groups of permanent envelope
in two and three dimensions without restriction on wave
height.
