Profile

Overview:

My research interests revolve around mathematical modeling with particular focus on computational simulation of real-life problems to provide insights and to suggest possible solutions. I work on various topics in ecosystem and environmental modeling, many of which were initiated and driven by the needs of the country or industry. My present research interest in climate change focuses on developing a coupled hydrology-vegetation model that can investigate short- and long-term impacts of climate change on coastal resources such as groundwater and vegetation. I have articles published in Journal of Asian Earth Sciences, Ecosystems, Ecological Modelling, Landscape Ecology and Agricultural and Forest Meteorology, Journal of Marine Science and Engineering and Theoretical & Applied Mechanics Letters.
