Overview:

Dr. Yazariah received her B. App. Sc. (Applied Statistics) and M. Sc. (Mathematics) degrees from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2003 and 2005, respectively. Under USM Academic Staff Training Scheme, she joined School of Mathematical Sciences in November 2010 after completing her Ph. D study at University of Strathclyde. Her research interests are in the area of fluid dynamics and mathematical modelling. Her work involves unsteady similarity solutions for rivulets and dry patches in the thin film of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids, and blood flow in the artery. She is also interested in heat and mass transfer problems, and in geometric modelling.
