Dr.Yazariah works in the area of fluid mechanics. Many of her works involve unsteady similarity solutions for rivulets and dry patches in a thin film of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid, and blood flow in the artery. She is also interested in heat and masstransfer problems, and in geometric design which involve curve and surface design.
