Dr Johnny Lim Khai Yang SCOPUS AUTHOR ID: 57210375226 |
Profile
Overview: Johnny Lim has joined Universiti Sains Malaysia in mid-November 2019. He was a Ph.D. student of Elder Professor Mathai Varghese. He is particularly interested in K-theory and Index theory. His previous work involves the formulation of an analytic Pontryagin duality pairing between circled-valued K-theory and K-homology, which describes the Aharonov-Bohm in Type-IIB String theory in physics. He is currently working on possible generalizations in this direction, such as the equivariant case and the non-compact case, with goal to find a link to the projective index theory of Mathai-Melrose-Singer. |
